Zoo Mansion

Project Name: Zoo Mansion
Client/Owner: The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore
Use: Office and Event Space
Type: Historic Restoration
Completion Date: June 2012

The Mansion House, built by Revolutionary War Colonel Nicholas Rogers, has stood in what is now Druid Hill Park since 1801. Over the years, the Mansion House has undergone many transformations and renovation projects.  Most recently, AZOLA restored the porch and installed an HVAC system to condition the porch, 1st and 2nd floors of the building.  The porch restoration included structural repairs, weatherproofing, as well as new finishes and storm windows.
